I’ve really been wanting to make some thing like this for a while now…
Old cake board
Patterned paper (A3 or large decopage from B&M)
Scissors + glue stick
HOW TO MAKE
Start by taking your cake board and tracing around with pencil onto the back of two pieces of coloured card, before cutting out.
Take a glue stick and stick the two pieces of cut card, pattern side up to either side of the cake board.
Next, take your photos and glue them on to different pieces of patterned cards, and cut out 5-7mm from the edge of the practising for a border.
Glue and stick all these in place around the cake board leaving a space in the middle for your name.
Create a template for your name first – by practising it on white paper – then trace around it and transfer onto the coloured card.
Cut out your name, glueing it in the centre of the board and outline the edges in metallic markers.
These are avalible to buy from B&M.
I used the purple one.
Take a ribbon, tie two knots on the end and hot glue gun in place either side of the top of the board. Cover your knots by glue gunning two triangles of
If you want you can tie two bows and glue them down on top of the felt to hide it.
And finally, take some complementary glitter washi tape and glue gun it down practising the edge of your board.
That’s it. Your super girly, photo board is now able to be displayed and hanged on your bedroom wall.
Hope you like it,
